A Happy Halloween To You

With all of the hustle and bustle of the wedding and everything else...we decided to forego our annual Halloween party this year. Instead, I spent some time with a few good friends and then of course gave out candy to the little kiddos later that night :)

Simple. Fuss free. Happy Halloween!

I had dinner with my great friends Melody (who was visiting from New York) and Analyn. It was wonderful catching up with these gals! We talked about our trip to New York next year to go visit her new place. I've never been...so I'm really looking forward to it :)

{Side Note}

I ordered the Autumn Ingredient Salad...it was SO GOOD. Mind you, this is a healthy, organic food kind of place...but if you're open to trying it out, please do! I'd recommend this salad (too bad it's seasonal though...but there's still time). 

Halloween at the household was nice and quiet. Is it just me, or does it seem like the number of kids trick or treating get less and less every year? Just my thoughts....anyway, I still had fun seeing all the cute ones in their cute costumes!

{Side Note}

For me, this was a last minute throw together Halloween costume. I had the Minnie ears from Disneyland from a couple of years ago...I borrowed the Minnie slippers and the red polka dot skirt from Charlene...the black top, belt and tights I already had...and the white gloves are from my Halloween costume last year, when I was Pinocchio!

From the looks of things...and from all the hearsay going on that day...I think the guests had a MIGHTY FINE time :) The reception was one to remember! From my stand point- everything was a blur! I was so busy making sure things were going smoothly and getting the program going. Time flew by quick...but I definitely had a blast as well. I only wish it could have gone on longer through the entire night!

Bernardo Winery looked SO beautiful and enchanting... it was truly magical.

The reception site was held in Rosario's Pavillion inside Bernardo Winery. All of the decorations you see here were hand made by Charlene, myself and the Owl Flock gals, plus a few of the other bridesmaids. The designs and concepts were all by Charlene...she's got one brilliant mind when it comes to these things :)

Okay, so I have a little back story here. The first time Charlene threw the bouquet, she purposefully directed her throw at me...and what did I do? SIGH. I let it slip through my arms! I held both of my hands out to catch it and it went through the circle- like a basketball going through a hoop! Womp womp :(

A second try? Just kidding. Look at all these single gals putting their hands up! Single ladies!

Just for kicks, Charlene had Enrique take out "her panties!" Hahaha! These were clean ones and she had it tucked into her garter! Everyone thought it was hilarious...and a few of them gasped in shock ;)

Time for the big toss! Look at all these single...hmm, let me just say "unmarried" fellas because I KNOW some of these guys have long time girlfriends! Ahem ahem, Rodney, Wil, Norman! Yeah I'm calling you guys out ;)

All good things must come to an end....it was time to wind down and wrap it up at Bernardo Winery.

In case you were wondering why the Bride has fake red blood smeared all over her chin...well, she and Enrique performed "Thriller" during open dance floor! Halloween was just around the corner and it's one of their favorite times of the year :)
