Life's Celebrations: My Grandfather's Special Day

This past weekend, we celebrated my grandfather's 85th birthday! Nothing fancy or fussy (that's not his style anyway)...just good ol' family time with loved ones. Simple, meaningful and memorable...just like him :)

My grandfather is too funny! Before we even began singing the happy birthday song, he already blew out his candles. So we tried it a second time...and again he blew them out as we sang "Happy..." Alas, the third time was the charm! He waited until the very end of the song and then blew out his candles. Hahaha! :)
